We created the Acnex mattifying moisturizer as an anti-blemish care for oily or acne-prone skin. It’s lightweight, oil-free, and it reduces shine quickly and lastingly to make skin appear globally healthier.

The lotion is composed of two exfoliating acids: glycolic and salicylic; as well as zinc PCA which moisturizes, but mostly, normalizes sebum production. Absorbing powders ensure the mattifying action by absorbing and reducing excess oil.

Our goal with this product was to effectively reach a mattified, hydrated and clearer skin in just a few days.

The Reversa Acnex lineup forms a daily anti-acne system that can be used alone or in combination with prescription drugs.

Product Usage

  • Apply daily morning and/or night all over the face, avoiding the eye area.

Reduce sun exposure and use broad-spectrum sunscreen with SPF 30 or higher during the day while using this product.

Best moisturiser for my combination skin

I’m a simple girl: I see a Reversa Acnex product, I buy it. This moisturiser does a great job of moisturising, mattifying, and colour correcting my combination skin. I recently ran out of this moisturiser while travelling and had to find a replacement. I tried Vichy and La Roche Posay “mattifying” products over the course of a month and they only made the oil worse compared to this holy grail product. There’s simply no other moisturiser for me!

Best moisturizer for acne!!

This is the BEST moisturizer I’ve ever used for my combination, sensitive, aging & acne prone skin. Not only does it keep my oily-zones at bay, it’s hydrating enough for my drier areas as well. I love that it’s unscented, as my skin is super sensitive & reacts to fragrance much of the time. This was recommended to me by a Shoppers Drug Mart employee a couple of years ago & it’s still my go-to.

A wonderful anti acne moisturizer that mattifies. Its great under makeup, doesn't pill up and smells fresh and clean and good:) Its really great!

I bought this as I was looking for a moisturizer for oily skin. I have combination and this product works perfectly under my makeup after using spf. Will be purchasing again.

It is amazing

So I am 41 and still dealing with extremely oily skin and breakouts. I was happy with the Vichy Mattifying Lotion, but it has sadly been discontinued. I was recommended to try this after a couple of other failed products, and I love it. The scent is amazing and it does feel nice on my skin. So far has not caused new breakouts, but its only 4 stars because the mattifying effect did wear off eventually, and at the end of my work day, I was a little shiny, not major, but still not as effective at keeping the oil at bay all day.
